Blue Christmas Service

While the holiday season is meant as a time for celebration, for some this season feels devoid of joy. Some feel blue because they have lost loved ones this year. It could be painful memories. It could be a prolonged illness or dire diagnosis. It could be an unhappy marriage or unemployment. Whatever the cause, if you feel this way, you are not alone. Our 3 PM December 8 “Blue Christmas” Service will include prayers, scripture, and music to remind us that God is ever near. We will remember that, “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Invite your friends. This service of hope is for people of any faith or no faith at all.
