START THE NEW YEAR WITH A HEARTY BREAKFAST & CAR TALK
AT 9 AM ON JANUARY 13, 2026 AT THE LANDMARK DINER

If you'd like to begin the new year with other men from our church enjoying a tasty breakfast at the Landmark Diner in Roslyn, we've got you covered. Our first gathering of 2026 will be at 9 AM on Tuesday, January 13. The first topic of the day will be cars--What was your first car? Your favorite car? And the one car you never owned but would love to. First timers receive a free breakfast. Visitors are always welcome! Let Rev. Only know if you plan to attend.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT FOR PRESENT

DAY AMERICA
JOIN US FOR REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. SUNDAY ON

JANUARY 18, 2026 AT 10 AM
Many things have changed in our nation and world in recent times, and not always for the better. What has happened to civil rights, women's rights, LGBTQ rights, and rights for people of color? What have we learned? What should we do? And how might Dr. King's words and life apply to our country and world in 2026? Jimmy hopes to address some of these issues in his sermon on MLK Sunday, January 18, at 10 AM.

WOMEN AT THE WELL
SUNDAYS JANUARY 18 AND 25 AT 11:30 AM

As we step into a new year together, our first gathering will feature a special YouTube lecture from Matt Paxton, author of Keep the Memories, Lose the Stuff. You may recognize him from the TV show Hoarders or the Emmy-nominated PBS series Legacy List with Matt Paxton. In this talk, Paxton guides us through thoughtful, practical ways to declutter—not just our homes, but our mental and emotional spaces—so that we can be more present to the life right in front of us. On January 18th, we’ll watch Paxton’s lecture together and then take some time to reflect and discuss. What does beauty look like in our homes? In our daily rhythms? In our hearts? How might releasing a little clutter—physical or otherwise—help us notice the beauty already present in our lives? We will meet again on January 25th – the topic for the morning is TBA.

TUTORING AT ADVENTURES IN LEARNING
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21 AT 3:45 PM

On Wednesday, January 21st, youth are invited to join us for an afternoon helping kids with homework at Adventures in Learning. The afternoon runs from 3:45 pm to about 5 pm.
