YOUTH & FAMILIES NIGHT
AT UNITED SKATES OF AMERICA
Friday, February 7 – 6:15 PM
Youth and young families are invited to join us for a fun evening in Seaford, NY for Glow in the Dark Roller Skating! We will meet in Seaford around 6:15PM for dinner at a local pizzeria, followed by roller skating from 7pm-9pm. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time for this event. If your family or youth would like to join us, please let Rev. Burgess know ASAP.

FAMILY SUNDAY
February 9 - 10 AM
February 9th is our monthly Family Sunday. Our youth will serve as readers and ushers. There will be a special message for the children up on the chancel steps. Please let Rev. Burgess know if your youth would like to volunteer to usher or read.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING

Sunday, February 9 - 10:00 AM
Youth and kids will be collecting money for our neighbors in need through Souper Bowl of Caring. Following worship, youth will greet folks as they leave and ask for a cash donation to help local charities.

 

“LOVE SONGS AND LUNCH: A VALENTINE FELLOWSHIP TIME”

Join us for our second annual Love Songs and Lunch, a pre-Valentine Fellowship Time. We’ll enjoy a light lunch followed by a few love songs performed by our Director of Music Dr. Robert Jordan and our Soloists. 
 

SUPER BOWL PARTY
Sunday, February 9 - 6:00 PM
We are hosting a super bowl party at church this year for folks who want a space to watch it with friends. 
•    Bring your own beverages, (non alcoholic please) an appetizer or dessert to share. We will provide sandwiches and pizza.
•    Bring a comfy camping chair if you like for seating enjoyment! We’ll have the game on in the North Lounge and there will be lots of games in the Parish Hall for the kids to play. 
•    RSVP to Rev. Burgess by Feb. 7th.

WOMEN AT THE WELL

In honor of Black History Month, Women at the Well will watch "Shirley", a film based on the true story of Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to congress and her 1972 campaign to run for the president of the United States. We will watch the first half of the film on Feb. 23 and the second half on March 2nd. 

 

YOUTH AND FAMILY GAME NIGHT

Friday, February 28 - 6-8 PM

Youth and families are invited to join us for our monthly game night in the Parish Hall at 6pm. We will provide pizza and we ask that families bring a dessert to share. We'll play tons of fun group games and enjoy some friendly competition together! Please RSVP to Rev. Burgess by Feb. 27.

This Summer
2025 Service Trip to Fort Worth, TX
Next summer, our youth will be heading to Fort Worth, TX, the week of June 29-July 4th. We will be serving for the 5th summer with the wonderful youth organization, Be the Neighbor. Our week of service this year is entitled "Refugee Welcome." We will be serving with organizations helping refugee families in various ways all over Ft. Worth. Space is limited and at the moment we are only offering spots to our church members. Let Rev. Burgess know if your youth (grades 6 - 12) is interested in joining us for this meaningful week of service and learning together.
