FAMILY SUNDAY
Sunday, January 26 - 10 AM
Youth will serve as ushers and readers and we will have a special message for the children during the service. Let Rev. Burgess know if your youth would like to lead in worship.

YOUTH SKI TRIP TO THE POCONOS
Jan. 31 - Feb. 1
The youth group is headed to the Poconos for an overnight ski trip on Jan. 31 - Feb. 1.  Space is limited for this trip.  If your youth (grades 6 - 12) is interested in joining us, please let Rev. Burgess know.  

ANNUAL MEETING SUNDAY
Sunday, February 2 - 11:30 AM

February 2 is Annual Meeting Sunday. While our service will start at 10 AM as usual, it will be shorter than normal and there will be no fellowship time that day. This will give us time to get home and login to the Annual Meeting by 11:30 AM on Zoom.

Why do we have an annual meeting? While many churches are accountable to bishops or other higher ups, in our church, we are only accountable to one another and to God. As a Congregational Church, we are a democracy electing our own church officers and passing our own budgets. We also select our own ministers when the need arises.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING

Sunday, February 9 - 10:00 AM
Youth and kids will be collecting money for our neighbors in need through Souper Bowl of Caring. Following worship, youth will greet folks as they leave and ask for a cash donation to help local charities.

 

“LOVE SONGS AND LUNCH: A VALENTINE FELLOWSHIP TIME”
Sunday, February 9 - 11:30 AM
Join us for our second annual Love Songs and Lunch, a pre-Valentine Fellowship Time. We’ll enjoy a light lunch followed by a few love songs performed by our Director of Music Dr. Robert Jordan and our Soloists. 
 

SUPER BOWL PARTY
Sunday, February 9 - 6:00 PM
We are hosting a super bowl party at church this year for folks who want a space to watch it with friends. 
•    Bring your own beverages, (non alcoholic please) an appetizer or dessert to share. We will provide sandwiches and pizza.
•    Bring a comfy camping chair if you like for seating enjoyment! We’ll have the game on in the North Lounge and there will be lots of games in the Parish Hall for the kids to play. 
•    RSVP to Rev. Burgess by Feb. 7th.

All men are invited to our monthly breakfast gatherings at the Landmark Diner. Let Rev. Only know if you plan to attend.

This Summer
2025 Service Trip to Fort Worth, TX
Next summer, our youth will be heading to Fort Worth, TX, the week of June 29-July 4th. We will be serving for the 5th summer with the wonderful youth organization, Be the Neighbor. Our week of service this year is entitled "Refugee Welcome." We will be serving with organizations helping refugee families in various ways all over Ft. Worth. Space is limited and at the moment we are only offering spots to our church members. Let Rev. Burgess know if your youth (grades 6 - 12) is interested in joining us for this meaningful week of service and learning together.
