CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS

Sunday, September 6 at 10:00 AM

​Sunday school resumes September 6th! Kids ages 3 through 5th grade will meet together in the South Lounge, dismissed during the announcement time and picked up in the classroom after worship. We’re continuing with the “Whirl” curriculum, following the lectionary through Old and New Testament stories, taught by our rotating team of dedicate

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS

Sunday, September 6 at 10:00 AM

Youth Sunday school (grades 6–12) starts back up September 6th, meeting in the North Lounge. Youth will gather in the sanctuary at 10 AM to participate in worship for the first 15 minutes. Following announcements, youth and children will be dismissed for Sunday school. For youth Sunday School, we will use all sorts of mediums to bring our faith to life and help make the Bible relevant for our lives in 2026. We’ll use media pieces and online resources to help build upon lessons and for reflection. Looking forward to another great year with our teens!

9/11 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

25 YEARS LATER, WE STILL REMEMBER

Twenty-five years ago our country suffered horrific terrorist attacks in lower Manhattan, at the Pentagon in DC, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The aftermath shook our families and friends, our church and our community, our nation and our world. And we will never forget. Join us for 9/11 Remembrance Sunday service at 10 AM on Sunday, September 6, as we honor the lives lost, experience lingering grief, and reaffirm our call to be peacemakers in a wounded world.

SEPTEMBER 11th MANHASSET INTERFAITH

CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL SERVICE

Friday, September 11 at 6:30 PM

The Manhasset Clergy Association is sponsoring the annual 6:30 PM 9/11 Interfaith Manhasset Candlelight Memorial Service in Mary Jane Davies Park on Plandome Road. Join us and bring a candle. St. Mary’s is the rain location.

YOUTH CAR WASH TO HELP OUR NEIGHBORS

Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM

Join us Saturday, September 12th, 9AM–2PM, in the church parking lot for a youth car wash! Youth, older elementary kids, and families are all welcome. Come at 8:30 AM to help make posters and set up. All proceeds benefit our neighbors in need through Adventures in Learning. No set fee — donations of any size welcome. Youth: let Lori know what hours you can serve so we have the day covered. Pizza will be provided for those staying through lunch, and snacks to share are always appreciated (the kids especially love Munchkins from Dunkin, just saying!). Make plans to join us!

WELCOME BACK SUNDAY & BLESSING OF THE BACKBACKS

On September 13th, bring your backpacks to church! During worship, we’ll bless the backpacks of our students, teachers, and coaches — big and small — with a short message, prayer, and blessing. Kids will receive a laminated tag for their backpack.

WELCOME BACK BRUNCH

Sunday, September 13 at 11:00 AM

On September 14, stick around after worship for our annual Welcome Back Brunch at 11 AM in the Parish Hall. The brunch will include everybody’s favorite omelet and pancake/waffle stations!

YOUTH AND FAMILIES GAME NIGHT

Friday, September 25 at 6:00-8:00 PM

On Friday, September 25, 6–8PM in the Parish Hall — game night for all ages! We’ll provide a pizza supper. Families, please bring a dessert to share. Expect organized group games plus some kid-requested favorites. RSVP by Thursday, September 24 so we know you’re coming!

WOMEN AT THE WELL

Women of all ages are invited to join us for Women at the Well on Sunday, Sept 27 at 11:30 AM. We gather once or twice a month to watch inspiring videos, lectures, movies, and documentaries together. This year’s theme is “Inspired” We’ll will seek out content that lifts us up and keep us going in a challenging world. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s find inspiration together!

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY

Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 AM

On Sunday, October 4, we will celebrate World Communion Sunday with Christians around the globe. Anyone who wishes can bake or buy a loaf of their favorite bread to share during Fellowship Time. Please leave your loaf in the downstairs kitchen prior to worship.
